I was in the car with my mother and brother, on our way to Trenton to help out with an after-school program. My brother had just shouted “Nice Rims” out the window at some car with fancy rims. This is probably not a good idea in Trenton, because it’s a big “gangsta” neighborhood and if people don’t take your comment the way you expect them too, trouble might ensue. That conversation ended, and we started to talk on some other topic when my brother shouts, “Elephants!” in the same way he did when he shouted “Nice Rims”. I got slightly annoyed at him but he says “No really! Elephants” Six to seven elephants slowly walked around a corner on to the street we were traveling on. While many personnel herded them in the right direction. I have no idea why there were elephants, and it seemed rather unreal. When was the last time you saw elephants walk down a random street for no apparent reason in meat-space? (Meat-space refers to the Physical tangible world, i.e. not on television, the internet, etc.)

  1. Fun. Well-written. Except for the one non-sentence. Can you find it?

Also, surreal (meaning dreamlike) might be a better word when you say “it seemed rather unreal.”
