Edible Estates is out to transform suburban streets. They want to take your lawn and transform it into an edible landscape, growing fruits, vegetables, grains and herbs right in your front lawn for all the world to see. Your resource-guzzling green mat would be replaced with a luscious productive garden. Edible Estates has a very good movie on their site you should go watch, about how people spend more time maintaining their lawns, than enjoying them. I would love for Edible Estates to come do this to my lawn, but unfortunately I don’t own my lawn, and I’m pretty sure the owner wouldn’t like it.
